You can acquire a temporary Chemistry access card from Rob Wood, who is located in C/A/133
This site contains information on getting a replacement: https://www.york.ac.uk/students/studying/university-card/
You have until the end of Week 2 of the semester in question to change your optional module(s), although the sooner you do it the better as you will have less work to catch up on. Please send an email to chem-env-ug@york.ac.uk confirming which module(s) you would like to drop and which one(s) you would like to take instead.
See the Studying beyond your department page for more information on the different types of elective modules available and the application deadline for each of them. An elective module can only replace one of your optional modules, not a core module. Once you have decided which module to apply for you can make your application in e:Vision. Your application will need to be approved by both your home department (who will check for timetable clashes) and the offering department (who will check if you meet any pre-requisites and if there is still space on the module).
